Dr. Abdel Rahman Naqawa

PhD., (Sp.Ed.),CCC-SLP

Dr. Abdel Rahman Naqawa holds a Masters in Speech and Language Pathology from the University of Jordan, and Masters in Speech Pathology and Audiology from San Jose State University, California, USA. He also holds a PhD. in Special Education.

Dr. Naqawa is a member of the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA), and holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) with 25 years of experience in providing diagnostic and therapeutic services for children and adults in a variety of speech and language disorders.

Dr. Naqawa served as clinical supervisor, deputy director of speech language pathology division, head of speech-language pathology unit, head of material development unit, and research and development coordinator. Dr. Naqawa holds certification in a variety of renowned professional programs such as Hanen® , PROMPT®, Sensory Integration Praxis Test (SIPT®), Verbal Behavior and others.

Dr. Naqawa has many publications that are used in the diagnosis and treatment of speech and language and hearing disorders. Dr. Naqawa is also a part time lecturer and provides specialized training for speech therapists and special education specialists at specialized centers, and hospitals in the gulf region.

Ms. Asma Abul Qasim Rizvi

M.Sc., CCC-SLP

Ms. Asma Abul Qasim Rizvi completed her Masters and Bachelors in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology in the USA. Ms. Asma Abul Qasim Rizvi graduated with a Bachelors in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology from the University of Texas at Dallas, USA and a Masters in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of North Texas in Denton, USA.

She then went on to complete her Clinical fellowship year under various mentors and received the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC- SLP) from the American Speech-Language -Hearing Association (ASHA). Ms. Rizvi has maintained her membership of ASHA since, with rigorous continuous ongoing education. She has interned at the Integra Plano Day Neuro facility and the Texas-Health Presbyterian Hospital in Plano, Texas, USA.

Ms. Rizvi worked in the Denton school district in Texas USA as a Speech-Language Pathologist, offering diagnostic and therapeutic intervention services supporting individuals with communication delays across multiple settings of home and typical class rooms. Ms. Rizvi also worked with children in the life skills classrooms presenting with severe communication deficits due to various accompanying conditions.

An opportunity to work with a non-profit in Jeddah Saudi Arabia brought her to the Middle East in 2011. She has worked extensively with individuals aged 2– 18 years experiencing communication deficits of varying severities. With an experience spanning over 18 years, Ms. Rizvi has served her client families with evidence-based practice. In addition to serving her client families Ms. Rizvi has a passion to update and employ novel EBP methods and techniques in her therapy.

Ms. Rizvi is an ASHA certified, licensed Speech and Language Pathologist holding multiple trainings and certifications in renowned programs of Hanen®, SCERTS®, PECS®, PROMPT®, LAMP®, SOCIAL THINKING®, NLA®, and others.
